What exactly do we do and who are we?
We are Helle Niedersachsen Raiffeisen Kartoffel GmbH, or HNG for short.
With our six employees we are the sales organization of the primary cooperatives in the Lüneburger Heide area for potatoes and onions.
The primary cooperatives buy the potatoes and onions from the farmers at fair prices, and the HNG then sells the goods as a wholesaler to packing and industrial companies. These in turn equip food retailers so that consumers can enjoy fresh table potatoes, other potato products and onions all year round.
Due to our good location in the Lüneburger Heide, we can deliver fresh goods at any time of the year. The potatoes are marketed fresh from the field at the beginning of the season. After the harvesting work has been completed, our primary cooperatives and their farmers have modern crate stores including cooling for long-term storage of our goods. In this way, we ensure delivery of high-quality goods for all directions of use until the end of the marketing season.
We work with certified freight forwarders and ensure that the goods are delivered to you on time!
